As I read this email, my immediate thought was I wonder how many people don't get this?

Submitting articles to directories for web traffic has become a hot topic over the past several months.  Most internet marketers I know are doing this consistently.

But a few people I know (like Kim above) have taken this idea to the next level and are writing articles, to produce affiliate income.

I called Kim after I got this email,  she said she is only writing 5 articles each weekend, and is spending about 1 hour and right now making over $3,000 a month.

The cool part is here income has grown every month for the past 90 days since she started doing this.  As you probably know, articles that end up in the search engines, usually stay in the search engines awhile.

3 Rules for Creating Leads for MLM Distributors in YOUR LOCAL MARKET

     It is predictable, you get involved with a MLM Opportunity, you blow throw the people you know letting them know about your products and opportunity ….NOW WHAT?


 

How do you find more people to talk to? 

Unfortunately a great deal of newbie distributors start buying MLM leads from various lead companies.  This is the wrong move! 

MLM Lead companies at their BEST offer inconsistent leads. 

Until you have Master How to create your own leads, why would you spend your hard earned money on leads?  I talk more about this concept at http://www.WebCashLeads.com.

I am not against MLM lead generation programs.  They have there place, after you have mastered how to create leads in your local market. 

When I first started in the industry, there were no such thing as a Network Marketing Leads company so we were forced to learn how to create our own leads, there were no shortcuts.


 

If this makes sense, let me share with you 3 Rules to follow when creating leads for Network Marketing distributors in your local market.


 

Rule #1
Set up a voicemail “Ad Box”.   Some companies provide voice mail boxes for their distributors.  If yours doesn’t look in your local yellow pages under voice mail. 

ALL of your advertising and promotion materials should have this phone number listed.  This way you can contact all when you are focused and in control. 

The worst thing in the world is trying to communicate the benefits of a power business with babies screaming, dogs barking or other distraction going on in the background.


 

Rule #2
Leave the right message on your Ad Box.  I have tested this many times over the years.  This is absolutely undebatable.  Your message should say


 

“Thank you for responding to our National Advertising Campaign, at the sound of the tone, please leave us your name, address, phone number and email address and one of our representatives will contact you as soon as possible”


 

I know some leaders believe in 3 minute sizzle lines, or full blown conference calls.  Don’t take there advise.  ANY THING YOU SAY ABOUT YOUR COMPANY, PRODUCT OR OPPORTUNITY AT THIS POINT WILL ONLY DECREASE the number of people that leave you there data!  PERIOD! 

Your goal is to collect contact info, not tell them anything about your products or opportunity.


 

Rule # 3

Blitz your Market.  Now that you have your lead box set up properly you want to get your information into the market place EVERYWHERE!  Blitz your market with promotional materials.

LOCAL CABLE TV CLASSIFIEDS.   Many communities have local scrolling classified ad sites.  You will be shocked how cheaply you can advertise on these sites, check them out.

You have talked to everyone on your list, Now What?

If you have talked to everyone on your list and you have nobody left to talk to you have made a  terrible mistake, the best advice I can give you is don’t let knew members that join your team make the same mistake. Let me explain.   The foundation for every professional sales system is based upon referrals.  Unfortunately very few new MLM distributors are taught how to obtain referrals.   They blow through their warm market and run out of prospects in the process.  Internalize and teach this phrase and it will make a powerful positive impact on the growth of your organization.  If you were going to do this business, who would be the first person you would talk to?  Who would be the second?  Who else do you know that I should talk to?   Ask this question with pen in hand and be ready to write.  Here is the concept, you expose an opportunity DVD to 10 people none of them have an interest right now.  You ask each person the above series of question and end up with 20+ BETTER PROSPECTS to contact.   Here is another brain tweak on the topic of referrals.  The odds of the person you are exposing the business to being the one you are looking for is slim to none, the odds of them KNOWING the person you are looking for is extremely high! I would rather work 10 referrals than 30 leads that I had to beat the street to create!  Learn how to obtain referrals and teach this to your organization and it this will make a major positive impact on your business.   If you would like a free audio that explains this concept in detail email your request to DTCalvert@aol.com. With that said, I realize that the above concept doesn’t help you right now.   So you need to create leads this week?  What do you do?  Ladies and gentleman it’s not that easy.  You must MASTER LEAD GENERATION right now!   I have seen people who have been involved in this industry for 5, 10, 15 years and longer and have never Mastered Lead Generation.  That is sad, it is very sad.  That is like a dentist who doesn’t know how to do a root canal.  Every professional network marketer should have the ability to make their phone ring with fresh prospects at will.

A couple of years ago we wrote and published our first Ebook MLM Insight.(www.MLMBombShells.com)  At the end of the ebook we had an evaluation that distributors had the option to complete and email to me.

I personally looked over the evaluations and made suggestion on how they could move their network marketing business forward. I was absolutely amazed at the people who have been with a company a couple of years, have six or seven distributors in their organization, and hadn’t personally sponsored anyone in ninety days or longer.

Now, a couple of years later and nothing has changed. That is were the inspiration for this article came.

Professional Network Marketers, Leaders, and Future Leaders RECRUIT EVERY WEEK! Period!

You must establish your recruiting rhythm, so each and every week you are prospecting and recruiting. Momentum in your organization starts with YOU!

I want to share with you a couple of simple inexpensive methods for recruiting in your local market. I believe you should build it in your backyard first! Don't go across the country until you have gone across the street. Dale are you saying that I shouldn't recruit online?

Absolutely not! I am talking about your focus; your focus should be to develop a strong local organization.

METHOD # 1 BULLETIN BOARD FLYERS

Many community businesses have public bulletin boards to place yard sale announcements, automobiles for sell, lost pets, etc. These types of announcement boards are most common at grocery store chains, Wal-Mart stores, and laundry mats.

Many distributors have also had success posting these type flyers on pop machines, newspaper dispensers, and pay phone booths.

You can design an 8 1/2 X 11 flyers for your product(s) and or opportunity. You should have a minimum of 30 Flyers at different locations within your community at all times. How much does it cost to have 30 flyers copied? A couple of dollars?

METHOD #2 BUTTONS

"Lose Weight Now, Ask Me How?"

Herba-Life built an empire with this stupid little button. Buttons are easy, simple and very duplicatable. Don't leave your house without your stupid button, buttons, will make you sales and create prospects for your business.

Imagine an organization of 20, 200, 2000, or 20,000 distributors in your downline, all wearing a button and sponsoring people and retailing products, EVERYDAY. Do you want to be cool, or do you want to make $$$?

METHOD #3 INFORMATION IN WAITING ROOMS.

At our former company we produced a magazine called "Success Makers". The magazine consisted of about 20+ pages with Success Story after success story.

Many companies offer 10 -20 page product information booklets. Companies, who are featured in Industry publications such as Money Makers Monthly, can also use reprint articles.

What do you do with these publications?

Place them in waiting rooms. Doctors offices, dentist offices, tire stores, barber shops, anywhere that people must sit and wait. You should make a list of locations in your area, and ALL of them should have your literature in their waiting rooms.

After your locations are established you must SERVICE your location. In other words you, a teenage child, your spouse, your mother, someone must periodically check your locations!

Check the public bulletin boards to make sure your flyers are still visible and the waiting rooms for your magazines and or booklets. We call this establishing a route.

Getting the information into your market place one time, does little good. You must consistently keep your message in front of your local community. Just like follow-up is critical in the recruiting process so is SERVICING your "literature locations” on your route.

METHOD #4 DROP CARDS OR SIZZLE CARDS

These cards are different than your business card. They are basically a business card, with a classified ad printed on it sending people to a website or sizzle call.

Every network marketer should be dropping these cards, everyday, everywhere they go. The most effective cards we have seen look like $100.00 bills. These cards are viral because people who pick them up, DON’T THROW THEM AWAY, and many times use them to play a joke on a friend, or family member.

I realize some of you reading this article suffer from "TooCoolitis" You are too cool to initiate the above methods. The BOTTOM LINE IS ………YOU aren’t the issue, a duplicatable system and programs are!

You must become aggressive, you must understand that there are X number of people you are going to have to expose to your product & opportunity before you achieve the success that you desire.

The quicker you get through the numbers, the faster you will have Success. It is really that simple!

Many people approach their network marketing business with no posture, no work ethic, and no drive. When things don't work out, who do they blame? Certainly not the person in the mirror!

If you are going to learn how to swim you must get in the water!!! Many MLM distributors are sticking their BIG TOE in the pool trying to learn how to swim!

PEOPLE FOLLOW PEOPLE who have enough guts to sprint, jump, and do a cannon ball right in the middle of the pool! If you are going to build it then go for it, quit playing around. Life is not a practice session!
