A couple of weeks ago I tested ezine ads usiing the service
found at www.EzineDeal.Tip4Success.com.

I will be using this service again. I have made over 10 times my
investment.  This service has been a winner for me and many
of our clients.

 

 

I am heading to Jackson, TN this weekend for a private training
event with a new company.

I am excited about this.  We will be at the Double Tree Hotel from
12:30 to 9:00 on Saturday, so if you are in the area, stop by and
say hi.

I will be training on “The reatail follow up system” and lead generation.

If you visit this site much at all, you know I am a big
University of Kentucky fan.

Last night I attended a high school basketball game,
and left a little early to make sure that I got to a TV
in time to catch UK & Tennesse on ESPN at 9:00.

UK was an underdog and Tennesse was the favorite.

At the end of the first half Kentucky was winning by
4 and UK Junior Jodi Meeks had 26 points.

To make a long story short, Meeks put on a show.

He ended the game with a new UK Record 54 points
for the game.  Needless to say, ESPN has been talking
about Meeks performances all day today.

As a UK fan, it was awesome to see “history” being
made.  If you think of all the great players that have
gone throw the program over the years, it is really
amazing.

UK has won more games than any other college team
in history. 

It is just a reminder that records are made to be broken
and the only limits we have are those that we put on
ourself.

I have had this conversation so many times over
the past couple of years with consulting clients it
is scary.  They joined an mlmnand were told by an
ignorant upline to start spending a couple hundred
bucks a month for leads and pound the phones every
night.

Four months into the deal, they have made 200 phone
calls with little or no results.  They have 800 leads they
haven’t had time to phone with lead charges on their credit
card, and they are ready to throw in the towel.

 

As I have said many times, the fastest way to run a new
person out of the business is to throw them into the cold
market “dialing for dollars” every night of their life. 
This is just too brutal and the majority of people are not
ready for this kind of rejection and frustration. 
Anyway, back to my story.

At some point they find me and order our 21 Ways to Create

They gain a tremendous amount of experience and confidence
working in their local| community and over the next four months
develop an organization of 20-30 people.

At this point they are usually ready to hire me for some 1-on-1
coaching, and here comes the question. 

Is there anything I can do with the 800 leads
I bought last year?

My resposne is always the same.  Send a voice broadcast to them.

I believe we should master prospecting and recruiting in a very
sequential order.

I recommend that you only buy leads AFTER you have mastered
the first 5 prospecting and lead generation techniques and AFTER
you are full time in the business and you have an advertising budget
to support this business expense.
I never have recommended that people buy and call leads.  It is
the biggest waste of time in the business I can think of.  I know
that there are some “gurus” that promote this and do live calls.
Here is what you don’t know.  In some cases this is what is
really going on behind the scenes.

The guru is selling leads for a particular lead company.

The guru has a deal with the lead company.  The leads they are
calling are NOT the same quality of the leads you will be getting. 
Their leads were contacted previously and told that someone would
be calling them that night. (The night of the training call)
So if it seems like everytime they call a prospect the call goes
flawlessly there is a reason.  That aren’t playing in the
“real world” where you have to play & perform daily.
I have always taught people to use a voice broadcast
system and find the low lying fruit, the people that are
sincerely looking for a home based business.
People always asked me to recommend a specific company
and until recently I would just tell them to do a search for
voice broadcasting online. I didn’t have any particular
recommendation until now.
A couple of months ago, I evaluated a new voice broadcast
company. Their rates are great and their service impeccable.
They also have an affiliate program (I believe we should sale
picks and shovels!) so you have the opportunity to use the
service free.

So what do you do with old leads?

Send them a voice broadcast.
It should simply say:

Hi,

This is Dale Calvert calling you from Lexington, Kentucky
and I have information here, that at one time you were
interested in starting a business from home.

When they call, ask questions and take control of the conversation,
DON’T PITCH THEM, MAKE THEM Sell YOU!

You have the gold, you are the one with the opportunity. 
Treat your opportunity like you have a $100,000 a year job
to offer people and watch what happens to your recruiting ratios.
