Thanks to my buddy Charllie Thackston for sharing
this with me!

I had not read these before. Outstanding!
At a time when our president and other politicians
tend to apologize for our country’s prior actions,
here’s a refresher on how some of our former
patriots handled negative comments about
the United States.

These are good

JFK’S
Secretary of State, Dean Rusk, was in France
in the early 60′s when DeGaulle decided to pull
out of NATO. DeGaulle said he wanted all US
Military out of France as soon as possible.

Rusk responded,
“Does that include those who are buried here?”

DeGaulle
Did not respond.

“You Could have heard a pin drop”

When in England ,
At a fairly large conference, Colin Powell
was asked by the Archbishop of Canterbury
if our plans for Iraq were just an example
of ‘empire building’ by George Bush.

He answered by saying,
“Over the years, the United States has sent
many of Its fine young men and women into
great peril to fight for freedom Beyond our borders.
The only amount of land we have ever asked for
In return is enough to bury those that did not
Return.”

“You Could have heard a pin drop”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There was a conference in France
Where a number of international engineers
Were taking part, including French and American.
During a break, One of the French engineers came
back into the room saying, “Have you Heard the
latest dumb stunt Bush has done? He has sent an
aircraft Carrier to Indonesia to help the tsunami
victims. What does he Intend to do, bomb them?”
A Boeing engineer
Stood up and replied quietly: “Our carriers
have three Hospitals on board that can treat
several hundred people; they are Nuclear powered
and can supply emergency electrical power to Shore
facilities; they have three cafeterias with the capacity
to Feed 3,000 people three meals a day, they can
produce several thousand Gallons of fresh water from sea
water each day, and they carry half a Dozen helicopters
for use in transporting victims and injured to and From
their flight deck. We have eleven such ships;
How many does France have?”
“You Could have heard a pin drop”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A U.S. Navy Admiral
Was attending a naval conference that
included Admirals from the U.S., English,
Canadian, Australian and French Navies

At a cocktail reception, he found himself
standing with a large Group of officers that
included personnel from most of those countries.
Everyone was chatting away in English as they
sipped their drinks but a French admiral suddenly
complained that, whereas Europeans learn many
Languages, Americans learn only English. He
then asked, “Why is it that We always have to
speak English in these conferences rather than
Speaking French?”

Without hesitating,
The American Admiral replied, “Maybe it’s
because the Brit’s, Canadians, Aussie’s and
Americans arranged it so you wouldn’t
Have to speak German.”

“You could have heard a pin drop”

AND
THIS STORY FITS RIGHT IN WITH THE ABOVE…

Robert Whiting,
An elderly gentleman of 83, arrived in Paris by plane.
At French Customs, he took a few minutes to locate
his passport In his carry on.

“You have been to France before, monsieur?” the
customs officer asked sarcastically.

Mr. Whiting
Admitted that he had been to France
previously.

“Then
You should know enough to have your passport ready.”

The American said,
“The last time I was here, I didn’t have to show it.”

“Impossible..
Americans always have to show their passports
on arrival in France !”

The American senior
Gave the Frenchman a long hard look. Then he
Quietly explained, ”Well, when I came ashore at
OmahaBeach on D-Day in 1944 to help liberate
this country, I couldn’t find a single Frenchmen
to show a passport to.”

You could have heard a pin drop.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
FROM DALE: As I read this it may appear to be
a knock on the French. I know the French people
get a bad rap.
I have been to France and was treated very well.
Every time I travel outside the United States I
am reminded how thankful I am to be born in
this country.
It is not perfect, and there is not a day goes
by that I don’t feel like we spend far too much
time paying far too much attention to the
minority.
This country has always believed in Freedom,
and Free Enterprise that is one of the reasons
that we have been blessed.
We have clients and customers from all over
the world who are fortunate to live in
countries who allow free enterprise.
Now just because I market on the Internet Marketer, doesn’t mean that I know why my Moms DVD player doesn’t work.
I have avoided learning the techie stuff for years. I love my mother to pieces, but our joke soon came to be when my default answer would be to "Google it". Well, now the answer is to any ‘how-to’ questions is to head over to YouTube.
This is where you go "Dale, I know about YouTube" True, but do you know how many marketing questions you have that can be cleared up by watching a simple YouTube video? Just remember you have a default ‘library’ of answers right at your fingertips.
Now here is the warning. DON’T get lost down the proverbial ‘YouTube Rabbit Hole’ get your answer and get back on your project. If you need an answer, go look it up, but here is the rule – Make sure the tutorial is under 5 minutes and then get back on task.
Otherwise hours have passed and you are wondering how your quick question about a WordPress install has led you here…
(Well, I can tell you the chain of video’s it takes if you like ;)
Anyways, YouTube is great for marketing, but it is also a VERY useful resource. As long as you don’t get lost when visiting… I have found myself using you tube more and more, because I am more visual and learn better from watching.
Have a great week – Dale PS Why you are on You Tube do a search for Dale Calvert and check out my channel. We have a ton of MLM trainings on YouTube.
A question I get quite often from would
be entreprenuers is Dale, how do I overcome
fear?
Everyone has Fear, that is not a negative
emotion necessarily. However some people
would be described as fearful and that is
beyond debilitating.
I have heard it said fear is:
F alse
E vidence
A pperaring
R eal
Naplin Hill said the way to overcome fear is
to recognize it, then repeat this phrase to
yourself.
“If you have nothing to lose by trying and a great
deal to gain if successful, do it now”
then TAKE ACTION.
Overtime, when fear appears, that phrase will
flash in your mind if you memorize it.
Fear can be overcome.
If your enterprise requires you to you the phone
and you are afraid, this will help you.
If you would describe yourself as “fearful” ….
THAT IS NO WAY TO SPEND THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!
You gotta get past that now. Don’t spend another
year of your life in fear!
Make the decision today to get past that!
This will help: http://www.ProgrammingYourMind.com
I hope this helps.
Memorize this phrase ……..
“If you have nothing to lose by trying and a great
deal to gain if successful, by all means try …
DO IT NOW”
Dedicated to Your Success,
Dale
A friend of mine sent this to me, TODAY—they
live in Pennsylvania , and I think it is worth reading
and worth passing along and DEFINITELY
WORTH DOING….
READ IT, PASS IT ON AND JUST LOOK A
LITTLE MORE CAREFULLY FOR THE
“MADE IN AMERICA ” BRANDS—
WE HAVE GOT TO GET THIS COUNTRY MOVING
AGAIN—-FORGET CHINA , FOR THEY WILL EAT
OUR LUNCH IF WE DON’T START LOOKING AT
“THE KITCHEN” MORE CAREFULLY I DIDN’T KNOW
HALLMARK CARDS WERE MADE IN CHINA !
That is also why I don’t buy cards at Hallmark
anymore, They are made in China and are more
expensive! I buy them at Dollar Tree – 50 cents each
and made in USA. Try this the next time a friend or
family member has a birthday, write them a birthday
letter. It will probably mean much more,or at the very
least join you the service offered by Send Out Cards,
I think they are based in Texas.
I have been looking at the blenders available on
the Internet. Kitchen Aid is MADE IN the US .
Top of my list already …
Yesterday I was in Wal Mart looking for a wastebasket.
I found some made in China for $6.99. I didn’t want to
pay that much so I asked the lady if they had any others.
She took me to another department and they had
some at $ 2.50 made in USA . They are just as good.
Same as a kitchen rug I needed. I had to look, but I
found some made in the USA – what a concept! – and
they were $3.00 cheaper . YES EVERY THING I PICK UP
AT WALMART IS FREE, BUT IS STILL LOOK FOR MADE IN USE.
We are being brainwashed to believe that everything
that comes from China and Mexico is cheaper . Not so .
One Light Bulb at a Time…
I was in Lowe’s the other day and just out of curiosity,
I looked at the hose attachments . They were all made in
China. The next day I was in Ace Hardware and just for
the heck of it I checked the hose attachments there.
They were made in USA .
Start looking, people . . …In our current economic
situation, every little thing we buy or do affects someone else –
most often, their job.
My grandson likes Hershey’s candy . I noticed, though, that
it is now marked “made in Mexico . ” I don’t buy it anymore .
My favorite toothpaste Colgate is made in Mexico …
now I have switched to Crest .
You have to read the labels on everything.
This past weekend I was at Kroger . . . I needed 60W
light bulbs and Bounce dryer sheets.
I was in the light bulb aisle, and right next to the GE
brand I normally buy — was an off-brand labeled, “Everyday
Value .” I picked up both types of bulbs and compared them:
they were the same except for the price . . . the GE bulbs
cost more than the Everyday Value brand, but the thing that
surprised me the most was that that GE was made in
MEXICO and the Everyday Value brand was made in – you
guessed it – the USA at a company in Cleveland, Ohio.
What does this have to do with MLM Training, I guess nothing.
It is just the longer I live the more I realize that bad things happen
when people don’t speak out and that which they believe in.
It’s Way past time to start finding and buying products you
use every day that are made right here.
So, on to the next aisle: Bounce Dryer Sheets… yep, you
guessed it, Bounce cost more money and is made in Canada .
The Everyday Value brand cost less, and was MADE IN THE USA !
I did laundry yesterday and the dryer sheets performed just
like the Bounce Free I have been using for years, at almost
half the price .
My challenge to you is to start reading the labels when you shop
for everyday things and see what you can find that is made in the
USA – the job you save may be your own or your neighbors!
If you accept the challenge, pass this on to others in your address
book so we can all start buying American, one light bulb at a time!
Stop buying from overseas companies – you’re sending the jobs there .
(We should have awakened a decade ago….)
Let’s get with the program and help our fellow Americans keep
their jobs and create more jobs here in the USA .
I passed this on .. .. . will you???
For the last year or so I have been urging my subscribers to stay in front of marketing trends. We have talked about Mobile Marketing, Kindle, and domain and website flipping. We are making good money in 2 of the 3 niches, but we have spent a ton of time in the education mode.
I had a friend and customer send me the email below today and I have received these questions off and on over the past year, so I thought I would share these questions and my answers with you in hopes that I could help a lot of my subscribers at the same time. Remember you are only 5 courses or books away from being an expert in almost any market you choose. (Yes, network marketing is the exception) The way to become successful in network marketing is to follow the free info I share in the book at www.StealYourSuccess.com
Dale, I have learned so much from you over the years. I have couple of personal/business questions I would like to ask you when you get a minute I would appreciate a reply.
Debbie
QUESTION: You hear so much about multiple streams of income, when should network marketers attempt to diversify their income ?
ANSWER Debbie, this depends on the person. In general this is my opinion. Most network marketers who are talking about multiple streams of income and attempting to work multiple companies, have never made Big income anywhere. They really don't understand the difference between network marketing and affiliate marketing.
In 30 years I cannot name 1 person I have ever met who was making $10,000+ a month in two different companies working them at the same time!  You should never attempt to create multiple streams of income from multiple MLM programs under any circumstance. Network marketing is about residual wealth building. It is not about creating multiple $100 checks, that is affiliate marketing. Network marketing is the most challenging, but most rewarding business model. Leaders must be focused and dedicated to their opportunity, their company and their team. If they can't find a company they can dedicate themselves to then they need to find a new one.
My advice to all network marketers is to don't even think about trying to create another income stream until you have mastered the skill sets and mindsets it takes in network marketing and you get your income to a full-time level.
QUESTION: As you know I am at a full-time income and the business has become easy and systematic for me now (As you said it would). I am ready to diversify my income and spend an hour or so a day learning a new business model. What do you recommend and is there a training program I should start with?
ANSWER That depends really on what your ultimate goal is, remember begin with the end in mind. If you are looking for some quick, extra cash I recommend Ebay, but I think you already sell some items on Ebay don't you? If not this will help: http://www.OnlineAuctionU.com
An addition would be buying and flipping domains and websites. I have some really good info here: http://www.FlipDomainsandGrowRich.com We have been doing this off and on for several years, but now there are some great tools in the market that make this a breeze if you get a little education. If you are looking for another long term residual income stream, then I definitely recommend you learn everything you can on Kindle Publishing. Dawn and I started a Kindle publishing division of our business about a year ago and it has really gained momentum in the last few months. There are several good courses on kindle publishing, these are the ones we recommend:
UPDATE 8/28  We have removed the courses that appeared in this article originally.  We have invested and gone through nearly a dozen courses, and some of the information is out dated, and will even get your Kindle account terminated.  This is the new course on Kndle, awesome, and the only one we recommend at this time. KINDLE TRAINING
And finally Mobile Marketing. This is going to be huge and growing. We have spent a lot of time and money on this, but still haven't quite figured it out, but we will! We have had some campaigns that have done awesome and some that have totally bombed. The best course we have found out their some fare is here: www.MobileMarketingOnline.com Deb, this should put you on the right track. If you have any more questions let me know. Dale JUST REMEMBER …….. In 30 years I cannot name 1 person I have ever met who was making $10,000+ a month in two different companies working them at the same time!
Multiple Streams of Income is a great idea, but focus on business models that create income and leads for your network marketing opportunity.
