Is it just me or are the number of Nigerian scam emails on the rise? It seems that over the past month or so the number of these emails hitting my email box has increased drastically.
I even received a Chain Letter in through the postal mail yesterday. Yes a chain letter. Some of you remember the days when you would receive 15 – 20 recruiting postcards in the mail every week and a couple of chain letters as well.
Recruiting postcards were popular before the internet, and still work today. We recommend that clients use recruiting postcards as part of their over all campaigns. If you do, here are a few people that definately need a legitimate opportunity.
I hate to see people get sucked into Chain letters and other scams. Chain letters are usually started by people whose mail business is to sell mailing list. It give legitimate work at home opportunities a bad name, because most people really don't know the difference. If you have a standard opportunity postcard (and you should) drop one in the mail to the people above.
They don't need to waste their time with Chain Letter scams.

Like many of you, I have been using gotowebinar.com for many years. Webinars are one of the most effective ways to communicate with clients, customers or potential business partners.

I have been using them for years, so I am grandfathered in at the $99.00 a month rate for a room that holds 1,000 people. Most of the webinars I do are closed training webinars for specific clients who want me to share with their team How to Create Leads for their business.
Normally we have 200 – 400 attendees, sometimes more, sometimes less.

As most of you know I have been encouraging the readers of MLMHelp.com to become educated on several new marketing trends over the past year and a half or so, one of them being Kindle publishing.
The numbers on the number of books being sold now on Amazon Kindle compared to bound books are staggering. Major bookstores around the country are going out of business. Will there come a day when a bound book is as obsolete as a record album?
That is what many experts are predicting. All I know is over the last year and a half Dawn and I have devoted a large amount of our personal education time to learning all we can about Kindle Publishing. Neither of us are what I would call tech savvy, especially me so to say this entire process has been a lot of trial and error would be a major understatement.
However we have been able to get several books published on the Kindle platform!

The great thing about publishing on Kindle, is people don't actually need to have a Kindle to download and read your books. The Amazon reader can also be downloaded on a cell phone or computer.
Our sales from Amazon have done much better we originally projected. The reason? Think about it for a minute. As we have always tried to teach as it relates to creating any kind of lead online is to "GO WHERE THE TRAFFIC ALREADY IS". Amazon supplies you the one thing all businesses need and that is customers.

Some of you have been able to get your books on the Kindle platform, and that is awesome. As you know the number one challenge of uploading a book to Kindle without a doubt is formatting. It can be an absolutely nightmare. Some of the early books we published were a mess, heck most of the books published on Kindle a few years ago were a formatting mess. However today people expect clickable table of contents, pictures, and perfect text alignment. (Heck I am still trying to figure out how to do that on this blog theme).
Thankfully we have gone through enough training and Dawn has figured 95% of this out, but as many of you know it is very time consuming. If you have done any publishing on Kindle at all you know exactly what I am talking about, right?
Well, I just watched a video on Kindle formatting that if half of what I am seeing is true, mine, yours, and everyone else's Kindle publishing nightmares are about to end!

I just think about the dozens of hours that this would have saved us this year, but very thankful to have found it now. I just had to share it with you guys. If you are not publishing on Kindle as of yet, but have plans of doing so in the future, BOOKMARK this page and start with this software from day one, it will put you way ahead of the game!
As you guys know we have been testing multiple text marketing campaigns over the past year or so. Quite frankly we have been so busy with other projects we have not had time to get on it and stay on it until we master it. ( I know, do what I say not what I do).
Anyway the popularity of this marketing method is only going to continue to rise. If you haven't started your "self education" process on this model to create leads for your business, maybe now is a good time to start. Download a few ebooks to your Kindle that you can read while you are on vacation this summer or take to the pool.

Phone calls and emails are obvious and effective ways to communicate in any prospecting process. Sometimes your message, however, can get lost in the mix of other messages that are all competing for the attention of your prospect. Moreover, the communications method you chose might not be the preferred messaging mode of your prospect. While a call or email can easily be missed or overlooked, at times there is nothing better at getting the attention of a prospect than a text message. In fact, a recent study shows that at least half of Americans 18 – 29 send at least 40 text messages a day, and half of those 30 – 49 send at least 10 per day. This is 8 times and 2 times, respectively, the number of phone calls they make per day.
